ABOUT ME

Hey, it’s great to meet you! My name is Jon Hull.

I’m an EAL educator and graphic designer with a decade of experience working alongside content-area teachers to support multilingual learners in the United States, Finland, and Panamá. I’ve worked with teachers in all of the core subject areas in urban, suburban, and international schools. I currently hold a master’s degree in TESOL and coordinate a program for MLs across multiple schools, which has shaped a practical, systems-level approach to teaching and instructional design.

I focus on designing meaningful professional learning sessions, beautiful resources, and coaching experiences that are realistic, teacher-centered, and rooted in classroom experience. My goal is to make instructional support feel human and immediately applicable.

Why the porcupine?

The North American porcupine is local to the forests near Jon’s birthplace and serves as a reminder that things that seem difficult or a little prickly at first often turn out to be valuable and worth engaging with.
